Re: pic: FIRST VeX Display at the New York State Fair

This was the VeX game at the FIRST display in the 4H building at the New York State Fair. There were lots of kids and parents there and everyone seemed to be having a good time. It certainly raised awareness about FIRST and some of the teams in the state. Team 250 was there on Saturday and Sunday over Labor Day weekend with 191 and 145, and I know other teams were there before and after those dates. Both the VeX game and the team-specific displays seemed to generate a lot of interest. It'd be great to see some new teams in the area or support for other teams in the state as a result of this.

What did everyone else who went think about the displays and the NYS Fair in general?

Basically the blue robots try to get the 4 blue balls and 4 white balls behind the blue line and the red robots try to get the 4 red balls and the 4 white balls behind the red line. The white balls started in the middle, the robots started in their respective zones, and the colored balls started across the field from their colored zone. It was pretty entertaining and the kids had a great time.
