Is it legal for parents/mentors to build the field pieces to use them for practice?

Adults - mentors are allowed to build the game and field pieces as there is no specific rule against it.

I would encourage the students to do as much work as possible in that area.

All adult rules apply to the fabrication and design of the robot.
