Webcasting

I was looking into webcasting the regional, does anyone know what it entails? Does NASA provide the internet connection (seems like some other webcasts have been done by NASA...)?

An update:
I have contacted the Pattie Cook, the Regional Director to see about the possibility of an internet connection so we can plan for a possible webcast.

you've got some competition from NJ coming strong and hard after solid finishes here...

Seems like Chesapeake will be a lot of fun.

We can't wait to see you and all our "rowdy" friends in Annapolis for the Chesapeake Regional. :)

In honor of the regional, I wrote a little song ... with apologies to Hank!
ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FIRST!!!

Well it's Friday morning and we're ready to rock!
Time to get all the hurdles, the laps and the blocks.
It's the Chesapeake regional that's comin' your way.
The Robobees TJ2, Mort, Hawaiian Kids and the GaCo are ready to play.
We gotta get ready, we gotta go live,
Cause the Chesapeake regional kicks off, so let’s drive!

So get ready. I mean, get ready.
Are you ready for some FIRST?! An Overdrive party!

We've got Dean and Woodie and Dave.
They've gotten it all kick started.
Jenny, George and the crew's all set. The crowd is psyched.
Cause all our rowdy friends are back in Annapolis tonight!

See you all in a couple of weeks!

Best regards,

Steve

We are asking the questions and will let you know when we know. This needs to be approved by the USNA, for starters.

Oh Akash, I think I'm hanging up my singing days for good. Making a fool out of myself in front of one regional a year is my quota.

Re: 2008 Chesapeake Regional

Map of the bus route, parking, USNA now posted via link on www.chesapeakefirst.org under "Venue Map"

A reminder from the Chesapeake FTA
Let all the teams know to Velcro their OI controls to the deck!
There will be 2" wide loop Velcro 6" from the edge of the control deck for
this purpose. This is essential especially if you are in #1 position.

Still recruiting Student Ambassadors, Student Singers and a few spots left for the "Team Showcase."

What does the student ambassador do? Sorry if that's been asked. I may be interested.
