We are going to try and see it, and we'll just sleep on the bus Wednesday. Now that I think about it, I never sleep while I'm in Florida:cool:. My secret as a driver, lots of energy drink, mountain dew, and Cheifdelphi.

Its well worth staying up for. If its a clear night you will be able to walk outside and see it. If you really want a close up view its about a 45 min drive to the river. Besides....you will still be awake anyway!!!

You'll have a blast at Florida!!! Aside from championships it is the most energetic FIRST event i've been to! Plus you'll get to meet alot of friendly teams!

That's Great to know!!! I hope it beats Boston I love that one I'm gonna miss going to it..we all had alotta fun there in past two years..and I think were trying to go to space shuttle launch thats gonna be opportunity of a life time since I'll never see something like that again...but I'll definitely be excited to see how FIRST operates out of NorthEast...a lot of people go to Disney ???

I see there is now a new layout that shows team numbers. As you said, the pits are now in the arena and there is no practice field visible. I guess they aren't planning on anyone actually watching the matches; looks like they applied the 2/3 minimum bumper coverage rule to the stands.

the layout looks fairly interesting. It kinda looks like they isolated all the rookies together. I'm just glad there's no more tent-pits!!

Just like at any other event. In past years some of the pits were outside inside a big tent (Not enough room indoors). This year they are all inside the new arena.

On a different note, I like the layout of the pits.

He has lived in orlando all his life tho lol.

People FIRST age and older tho will probably like Universal better, but its still occasionally fun to go to Disney.

Gosh that sounds like fun, Dan! I'll have to try to come back in the near future!
Thank you for helping to make last year's Florida Regional so special for me. You and your team mates in 1902, all the volunteers, and the teams that participated in the regional - made it one heck of a special memory. (Arefin's pigging at the airport with Wendy still makes me smile.) The new venue should be amazing. Everyone take pictures! Lots of pictures!
