Detroit at Washington Both teams have pleasantly surprised with good play. It's a tough game to pick so go with the usual and take the home team. Cleveland at New England The Browns have been playing better this season but New England has been annihilating anyone who gets on the field with them. Seattle at Pittsburgh Pittsburgh is gonna be one really angry team. Arizona at St. Louis Arizona and St. Louis are going in opposite directions. Jacksonville at Kansas City Jacksonville should win this game outright but they are one of the screwiest teams around. I'll take the risk. Carolina at New Orleans The Panthers are a better team on the road than at home. New York Jets at New York Giants Niether team is all that great and there is no real home team advantage here so I'll just go on a hunch. Miami at Houston Houston has slipped a bit since their hot start but they are a better team than Miami and are home. Beating teams you should beat at home is the first step to becoming a serious contender. It's time for the Texans to take those steps. Atlanta at Tennessee The Titans won't need any late game Vinsanity to pull this one out. Tampa Bay at Indianapolis The Bucs are looking a little better but the Colts look pretty much the same. Awesome! Baltimore at San Francisco The Ravens look like they have taken a big step backwards. San Diego at Denver Norv Turner has ruined another good team. Chicago at Green Bay The Pack is back and the Bears are whack! Monday Dallas at Buffalo With all of those bad injuries on the Bills defense there is no way they can compete with Dallas. |

Detroit at Washington Detriot's got a decent team this year Cleveland at New England Borwns=still no back to back wins since 2003 Seattle at Pittsburgh Seattle's good, Pitt's better Arizona at St. Louis Arizona will crush St. Lous Jacksonville at Kansas City Jacksonville steals one on the road Carolina at New Orleans Maybe N.O. will start winning? New York Jets at New York Giants Jets won't lose to another New York team after last week Miami at Houston Miami is bett...just kidding Atlanta at Tennessee Atlanta got lucky last week Tampa Bay at Indianapolis Indy is just too good Baltimore at San Francisco Rebound after lose to Arizona San Diego at Denver Maybe if I keep picking them, San Diego will win one Chicago at Green Bay Can you say 5-0? :D Monday Dallas at Buffalo Dallas all the way |

Detroit at Washington Jon Kitna Predicted 10 wins....he'll need this one to make us believe. Cleveland at New England Yes the Browns beat Cincinnati, but so did New England, so I'm going with New England Seattle at Pittsburgh It's kind of a toss up, the Steelers look better than they are, but they'll pull this out. Arizona at St. Louis Let's see...No Bulger, and a doubtful Jackson...I'll take 'Zona Jacksonville at Kansas City KC pulled one out against SD, and Jax aren't running the ball...so KC for the win. Carolina at New Orleans N'Orleans looked bad before the bye, and afterwards they should just look rusty, but Delhomme is out...so it's really a toss up. I'm taking Steve Smith. New York Jets at New York Giants Well if King Kong taught me anything, Jets don't stand up against big gorillas on the Empire State Building, and I think Giants are bigger than King Kong...so therefore the Giants will win this one. Miami at Houston Houston looks for a bounceback back after Atlanta, and Johnson might be back. Either way Miami is looking awful. Atlanta at Tennessee Honestly, it's hard to pick Atlanta, no matter who they're playing....unless it's Notre Dame....even then it's a toss up. Tampa Bay at Indianapolis Yeah 88 might be out...but they still have everyone else...Indy should win, although I'm thinking it might be closer than people think. Baltimore at San Francisco Alex Smith is out, and even with QB by committee Baltimore's D should pull them through. San Diego at Denver Denver has 2 wins. 1 against Oakland, and 1 against Buffalo...both were on last second FG's...I don't think they can keep winning games like that. I pick San Diego. Chicago at Green Bay If Detroit can beat Chicago with their murky defense, Green Bay should beat them handily. That and GB has this really great quarterback that no one's heard of...Brett Favre or something like that  Monday Dallas at Buffalo So far Dallas looks like one of the two teams from the NFC that could possibly stand up against one of the AFC "elite" teams....however, Buffalo isn't one of those elite teams...Dallas wins. |

No Bob Sanders Joseph Addai and Marvin Harrison are Game-time decisions. Colts D gave up running yards galore when Sanders wasn't playing. Even though the Bucs lost Cadillac, they still have capable RBs: Pittman and Graham. So I'm going to change my pick and predict that the Colts will be the only undefeated team to fall this week. |

But losing a running back like Addai makes the offense easier to defend (even though Peyton always finds holes...). Also, without a running game, closing out the game or running down the clock could be difficult. Not to mention, they're going to lose a game eventually. :p |

Re: 2007 NFL pick-em: Week 5
Patriots - Overrated.
My What the Heck pick wasn't as far off as most thought. If the Browns had a reliable QB and a pass rush New England would be toast. Brady whines too much. TD WINSLOW!!!!!! AHAHAHAHAHA. |
