Re: 2007 NFL pick-em: Week 6

This week isn't easy.
Sunday
Washington at Green Bay
Last week against a hungry Bears team was a fluke. The Pack will rebound this week.
Minnesota at Chicago
Chicago looks to have gotten something back. The next few games for them are very important, the Bears are still hungry.
Philadelphia at New York Jets
The Jets look bad and so do the Eagles, but I'll go with the stronger AFC here.
St. Louis at Baltimore
Baltimore looks bad - don't be surprised if the Rams pull this one out, but I'll pick the Ravens anyway.
Tennessee at Tampa Bay
Tennessee is looking good. If VY can play well against the cover 2 like he has so far this one should be a Titans win.
Miami at Cleveland
Cleveland is on a win ever other week basis now
Houston at Jacksonville
If Jacksonville can get the running game going this one is a Jags win
Cincinatti at Kansas City
The Bengals are a hard team to pick, but Kansas City doesn't look too good this year.
Carolina at Arizona
Arizona is for real, and like i said before - so is Kurt Warner
New England at Dallas
AFC > NFC - close but New England will run away with it.
Oakland at San Diego
San Diego looks to have gotten things back on track and last time I looked - the Raiders were leading the division. Thats how weak the AFC west looks.
New Orleans at Seattle
Seattle looked bad against the Steelers but New Orleans looks bad against everyone.
Monday
New York Giants at Atlanta
The Giants look good.

I'm not comfortable with a 1 pt overall lead, so I'll make better educated guesses later this week. :D

Re: 2007 NFL pick-em: Week 6

Washington at Green Bay
Injuries at WR isn't helping the Redskins offense.

Minnesota at Chicago
Don't screw this up Tarvaris Jackson. Vikings have what it takes to win on the road: Good Defense and Running game.

Philadelphia at New York Jets
2 weeks to prepare and heal helps.

St. Louis at Baltimore
Sucks to be the Rams at this point. Injuries have ruined a promising season.

Tennessee at Tampa Bay
See reason for picking Minnesota.

Miami at Cleveland
Derek Anderson: 312 yards/game, 2.75 TD/game. Sounds like a winner.

Houston at Jacksonville
Not too confident here, but the Jags are stepping up on D and MJD is revving up.

Cincinatti at Kansas City
Chiefs are going nowhere.

Carolina at Arizona
Nope. Carr can't get it done.

New England at Dallas
See last week's games.

Oakland at San Diego
Norv Turner figured it out: Get the ball to LT and Gates.

New Orleans at Seattle
Drew Brees: 929 yards, 1 TD, 9 INTs. Sad but True.

New York Giants at Atlanta
Like the Jags, the Giants are stepping up on D.

Can i vote on the lions to win?
They might actually do some good trading within the week >_>

need OLine/RB trades for that, ill take off a half if they dont!

haha. Any midweek trade in week 5 is going to be scrubs for different scrubs. They won't influence the outcome of the game.

BUT!
They are prolly gonna trade tatum bell (Who they gave up one of their Top 5 players for) So it should be kinda good!
-But its the lions, so prolly not, nvm- :)

Seeing that the Bucs just signed Crocket and they were willing to give only a second day draft pick (round 4-7) to the Vikings for MeMo, I wouldn't expect anything better than a later round draft pick if the trade evens happens

Re: 2007 NFL pick-em: Week 6

Week 6

Sunday

Washington at Green Bay
Well GB tried to lay down and play dead against the Bears last week, and that failed miserably, look for a rebound game against the Skins.

Minnesota at Chicago
Let's put it this way...the only way that Chicago's offense will be any good is if they snap it to Deven Hester 20 yards behind scrimmage and let him run...well they won't do that, but they should win anyway.

Philadelphia at New York Jets
The "high soaring" Eagles are trying to catch the Jets....what a stupid concept, even in a dive the fastest bird on Earth can't catch up to it mechanical metal counterpart....metal birds for the win.

St. Louis at Baltimore
The Ram's can charge all they want, but I'm thinking they'll just barely make a dent in the Raven's D...Baltimore by 5

Tennessee at Tampa Bay
Everyone always talks about who is better, Ninjas or Pirates...well I can't answer that but I can assure you that the Titans are better than Pirates....they're mightier than the Gods themselves you know.

Miami at Cleveland
Ugh...who cares? Cleveland only because i want the point.

Houston at Jacksonville
Houston's D hasn't looked great this year, but then again neither has the Jag's O....so it's really a toss up.

Cincinatti at Kansas City
Look for LJ to look like LJ against the sieve that is the Bengal defense.

Carolina at Arizona
I have to go with the young gun on this one....that's right, Matt Leinart! What do you mean he's out...Warner is in? Wait, that has to be a mistake....nope it's him versus Vinny Testaverde...wow.

New England at Dallas
T.O. is taking a new pregame media tactic this week...won't matter New England will still win. I think the game will be more lopsided than the score would suggest.

Oakland at San Diego
Yeah that's right I picked the Raiders....why not?

New Orleans at Seattle
The Saints are gonna march into the Emerald City looking for a win, but then get distracted by all the green, and wind up leaving with exactly the same amount of wins they have now.

Monday
New York Giants at Atlanta
Eli "I'm not Peyton" Manning, versus Joey "I wish I was a real QB" Harrington....i'll give it to Peyton....I mean Eli.

Re: 2007 NFL pick-em: Week 6

Sunday
Washington at Green Bay
Even though Washington had last week off to try and get organized for this weeks game, i just don't see them getting through Farve and the Packers.

Minnesota at Chicago
Minnesota may have an offense that is worse than chicago but there defense is all there. With all that is still surrounding Chicago, they once again lose.

Philadelphia at New York Jets
Jets have been struggling all year and this game isn't going to change it. Its going to be close but i give the advantage to Philly.

St. Louis at Baltimore
St. Louis couldn't beat there way out of a paper bag right now.

Tennessee at Tampa Bay
This one is going to be o so close... A late field goal will put Tampa ahead.

Miami at Cleveland
This is one of those paper bags again. Miami needs to do something drastic because they can't even win against a team of dumbies.

Houston at Jacksonville
This is going to be close but the advantage goes to Houston... I like the way they have been playing and i'd love to see them start a push to get a record good enough for the playoffs.

Cincinatti at Kansas City
Kansas isn't a good team. Cincinatti isn't a good team, but they are better than Kansas.

Carolina at Arizona
Both are good teams, but someone has to lose.

New England at Dallas
Dallas got lucky against Buffalo last week. They aren't going to be lucky here.

Oakland at San Diego
Not the best teams to be playing each other... nail biter all the way to the end.

New Orleans at Seattle
Bush and the Saints aren't getting worse there opponents are just getting tougher.

Monday
New York Giants at Atlanta

Pack bounce back after last week's loss
Minnesota at Chicago
Chicago is really turning around
Philadelphia at New York Jets
Neither team is good. Home team Advantage
St. Louis at Baltimore
St. Louis is hopeless
Tennessee at Tampa Bay
Tennessee is a better team than their record shows
Miami at Cleveland
A Win every other week maybe?
Houston at Jacksonville
The Jags are doing good but Houston is better
Cincinatti at Kansas City
Cinci has the offense
Carolina at Arizona
After what happened last week Carolina has no chance
New England at Dallas
Moss shines at the Duel at Dallas making Indy and NE the only unbeaten teams
Oakland at San Diego
If San Diego can put up 41 against Denver, imagine how many the could score against Oakland
New Orleans at Seattle
Yeah thats right. I'm calling the upset

Actually, only 5. The Vikings ran all over the Bears' 'defense' in Chicago for over 300 yards, winning 34-31.
