Alexander is a great magician, skilled in many things and he weighs exactly 199 lbs. He is about to cross a bridge with a strict weight limit of 200 lbs. The problem is he has to carry three gold pieces across, each gold piece weighs 8 ounces. The gold puts him 8 ounces over the strict weight limit. What did Alexander do to cross the bridge safely with all three pieces of gold?
(There is a real answer, he didn't throw them across nor did he poof them over with magic.)

And the answer is that she took his picture (shot him), developed the film (drowned him), and hung it on the wall (hung him).

None would be unlisted, because all of the numbers came from the phone book, so they would all be listed.


Parents with two children - a son and a daughter - came to a wide river. There was no bridge there. The only way to get to the other side was to ask a fisherman if he could lend them his boat.
