Re: Riddle Game!

After you draw one of the papers, swallow it. The jailer will be forced to check the remaining paper to determine what the one you drew said. The jailer will of course see a paper with "DEATH" written on it, assume you drew the one with "LIFE" written on it, and set you free.

Three surgeons and a clumsy cook go camping in the remote wilderness. The clumsy cook stumbles over the campfire as he is serving the surgeons, injuring himself and dumping hot stew on the hands of the surgeons. The cook's injuries need surgical treatment. The surgeons' injuries are minor but open. It turns out they brought the equipment necessary for the cook's surgery with them, and they can use the campfire to sterilize the tools. But there are only two rubber gloves. Because of the different surgeons' skills, all three of the surgeons are needed to operate on the cook, in sequence. How can this be done without any of them being exposed to the blood of any of the others?

Which is better, an old five-dollar bill or a new one?

maybe five new ones....
This was not the right answer.
The correct answer was: A 5 dollar bill is still more than a 1 dollar bill.
We now return you to the riddle game currently in progress :D

The tree surgeons perform the surgery one-handed, in sequence:
The first surgeon operates with the first glove inserted inside the second one. The second glove is removed, and given to the second surgeon, who then continues the operation. Both the second and first gloves are then removed from the second and first surgeons, respectively. The first glove is turned inside-out, and put on the hand of the third surgeon. The third surgeon then inserts this hand into the second glove, and completes the operation.

Captain Kirk lands on the planet of the Klingons, only to be captured. The Klingons tell him that if he tells a lie he will be shot; if he tells the truth he will be stabbed. Either way, if he makes a statement, he will be killed with a weapon. If he doesn't make a statement, he is told he will be cooked alive in a pot of oil. What's the one thing Captain Kirk can say to stay alive?

"This is a lie."

A man is found in a pool of water in the woods, dead. He is wearing a scuba outfit. He has no serious wounds visible. How did he die?

Food poisoning?

Sorry, but there are so many different ways to answer this question.

He died through some physical means, not poisoning. Oh, and the forest he is in is in Southern California this year...

Not quite. He still made a statement, and therefore was killed with some weapon. ; )

I wasn't going to answer this one because it is too easy and a urban legend.
The guy was scuba diving in a nearby lake. A water drop plane picks him up along with a load of water. When plane drops water on fire, he also drops diver. Splat :ahh:

You have two containers. One 3 gallon bucket and one 5 gallon bucket. You also have a larger container of water.
What must you do to get exactly 4 gallons of water.

[it should have been 4 gallons. My bad. Good catch liron]

"You will shoot me."

Why is 6 afraid of 7?

Because 7 ate 9.

If it has a quart capacity, how many pennies can you put into a empty piggy bank?

Only one penny and then it isn't empty anymore.

Why do statues and paintings of George Washington always show him standing?

Wayne Doenges 12-11-2007 18:04

Re: Riddle Game!

Because George Washington would never lie ;)

A woman shoots her husband.
Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes.
Finally, she hangs him.
But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together.

How can this be?

She shoots his picture and develops it.

A woman has 9 children. Half of them are boys. How can this be?
