Dean Kamen featured on Discovery program
 

Dean Kamen is currently the focus of a segment on Discovery HD called "DaVinci: Unlocking Genius". The program showcases current inventors who reflect the spirit of DaVinci.

I don't know if it's only on Discovery HD, or if it's on regular Discovery as well.

I turned it on halfway through it, but I caught part of a segment on the iBot, a neat segment on the Stirling engine (Dean has a 3kW generator in his basement being run by a stirling engine), and FIRST (footage from the Boston regional. I noticed PINK, and HYPER). Also some neat shots of Dean's machine shop.

It was pretty cool. For those who receive Discovery HD, I would check your schedules for the next airing. My cable provider shows tonight at 10-11PM, tomorrow from 2-3 AM, and tomorrow from 3-4 PM. all Pacific time.

I checked for the next week, and it's not listed for Discovery... so it looks like it's only on Discovery HD.

Yup, only Discovery HD, awesome show btw....just missed Dean Kamen when I tuned in. =/
