i put the file "DSSCOUTv0.3.nds" on to the cf card of my max media dock and it runs, but i don't think it saves. does it still save to "INFO1.txt"?

btw, are you going to update the program for next years game?

If it saved to the file (which is should, and if info1.txt doesn't exist, it will create it in the same directory as the bin file) you should see some numbers corresponding to the ones you entered when you saved.

And yes, I plan on recreating the scouting program during the build season, or at least before the first regional so teams have the opportunity to download the correct scouting program if need be.
On that note, I should say the the library I planned on creating is on a stand-still due to the amount of other work I have. I plan on finishing it, but not before this upcoming frc season. I will, however, as mentioned above, create a generic scouting program for all teams wanting one.

will that include a pit scouting form?

and as for saving, i have the txt file on there, but it just sits there and basically freezes the system.

I haven't heard of any other requests for a pit scouting form, but now that you mention it, that might come in handy! So sure, why not?

As for your scouting problem... not having a CF card myself, I cannot answer your question accurately. Is your CF card formatted with the FAT system? It may just be that the program doesn't work on Compact Flash cards, unfortunately...
