OI Robot Feedback LEDs flashing

We connected a 2005 RC to an OI by tether and all four of the LEDs in the left column of the Robot Feedback block are flashing red. All the LEDs on the RC are green but no PWM signals are getting through. I cant find any documentation that says what that means. I tried changing the tether, re-loading default code in the RC and another OI with no luck. Please can anyone help?

That sounds familar. I don't have access to the team's code archives right now, so I might be completely wrong, but here goes...

The 2005 robot code I remember blinks those four red LEDs while it tries to establish communication with the camera.

I can confirm that. IFI's version of the CMUcam code blinks the red OI LEDs when it can't communicate with the camera. Just put default code on it--not the 2007 code; download the old one from the IFI site--and it should behave.

Doh! We had a camer right next to it but didn't plug it in. Thanks! We'll give it try.

We recompiled the code after deleting _USE_CMU_CAMERA from project options and it all worked as expected. Thanks for the lead.
