Re: 2007 NFL Pick-em: Week 11
In the standings I'm still around the 50% mark and I haven't even played two weeks (except 1 call first week and no call last week). I think the following:
Kansas City at Indianapolis New York Giants at Detroit Cleveland at Baltimore Tampa Bay at Atlanta Arizona at Cincinnati Miami at Philadelphia Oakland at Minnesota San Diego at Jacksonville Carolina at Green Bay New Orleans at Houston Pittsburgh at New York Jets Washington at Dallas Chicago at Seattle St. Louis at San Francisco New England at Buffalo Monday: Tennessee at Denver |

Re: 2007 NFL Pick-em: Week 11
How does everyone think the playoffs will shape up? In a way I guess its sort of a power ranking. I would have to say:
AFC 1. Patriots 2. Steelers 3. Colts 4. Chargers 5. Titans 6. Browns NFC 1. Cowboys 2. Packers 3. Buccaneers 4. Seahawks 5. Giants 6. Lions |

AFC
North Pittsburgh(#2/#3) East New England(easily)(#1) South Indianapolis(#2/#3) West San Diego(#4) Wild Cards 1.)Tennessee(#5) 2.)Cleveland(#6) NFC North Green Bay(#1) East Dallas(#2) South Tampa Bay(#3) West Seattle(#4) Wild Cards 1.)New York(#5) 2.)Detroit(#6) From what I've seen this is my prediction...I'm not so solid on the NFC though. |
Re: 2007 NFL Pick-em: Week 11
AFC North
Pittsburgh (#2) The team with the first chance to ruin NE's 16-0 season. AFC East New England (#1)They could easily go 16-0 AFC South Indianapolis (#3)Too many injuries to keep up with Steelers and Patriots. AFC West San Diego (#4) It helps when your playing KC, OAK, and DEN. AFC Wild Cards Cleveland (#5) Go look at their schedule and tell me who can beat them? The Cardinals in Arizona is the only potential loss on the rest of their schedule. Tennessee (#6) Just because the Titans have an easier schedule than the Jags. NFC North Green Bay (#2) As everyone has heard a million times, they have no real running game. NFC East Dallas (#1) I like the Pack, but they're not even close to the Cowboys. NFC South Tampa Bay (#4) I can't see them losing the lead in the horrible NFC South. NFC West Seattle (#3) Only because they're in the same division as ARI, SF, and STL NFC Wild Cards New York Giants (#5) Could easily be a division leader if they weren't competing with the Cowboys. New Orleans (#6) Sorry to Lions fans, but the Saints have the easier remaining schedule. |

Sunday:
Kansas City at Indianapolis New York Giants at Detroit-The Lions line has a hard time dealing with an aggressive pass rush Cleveland at Baltimore Tampa Bay at Atlanta-This game is disgusting i am ill just thinking about how awful both these teams are Arizona at Cincinnati Miami at Philadelphia Oakland at Minnesota-No Peterson No Chance San Diego at Jacksonville Carolina at Green Bay New Orleans at Houston Pittsburgh at New York Jets Washington at Dallas Chicago at Seattle St. Louis at San Francisco New England at Buffalo Monday: Tennessee at Denver Playoff Teams NFC #1 Cowboys (Best Team in NFC) #2 Packers (Better D than Boys, can't compete offensively) #3 Saints (They are the best team in their division and they have an easy schedule) #4 Seahawks (You cannot be worse and win a division) (Changes if Arizona wins this week) #5 Giants (Great front four average everywhere else) #6 Lions (They have to complete bomb out, not that unlikely, to not make the playoffs plus tie-break over T-Bay helps) BUBBLE Arizona-Pretty stout D, One dimensional offense, if they win this week and can go to 8-8 they could win their division Tampa Bay-They are weak, they are not particularly good at anything AFC #1 Patriots (16-0) #2 Steelers (Have one loss left on their schedule) #3 Colts (All the injuries are going to take a toll on them) #4 Chargers (Wow what an up and down team) #5 Jaguars (Good defense, crappy quarterback, average coach, not a great team) #6 Browns (They are the only other good team left) BUBBLE Baltimore-Worst quartbacking in football, Defense is getting old, If Boller starts maybe they have a shot Tennessee-Poor offense, ok defense, not going to hold up down the stretch (Have fun at 8-8) Buffalo-Really, I shouldn't even mention them |

Kansas City at Indianapolis No way Indy will lose 3 in a row New York Giants at Detroit Detroit stays perfect at home Cleveland at Baltimore Upset, but I think the Raven's D can shut down the Browns Tampa Bay at Atlanta Tampa > Atlanta Arizona at Cincinnati The Cardnials are underrated and the Bengals just aren't good Miami at Philadelphia Miami seems hopeless Oakland at Minnesota If Peterson is healthy than it will be no problem...if not then its a toss up San Diego at Jacksonville San Diego pulls off another upset Carolina at Green Bay Packers = 9-1:D New Orleans at Houston N.O. says no to defeat Pittsburgh at New York Jets The Jets are hopeless Washington at Dallas Washington's good, Dallas is better Chicago at Seattle Da' Bears aren't that good this year St. Louis at San Francisco I don't know why people keep picking the Rams...or why I keep picking the 49ers New England at Buffalo No upset here Monday: Tennessee at Denver This will be a game decided by a field goal |

Sunday:
Kansas City at Indianapolis With LJ out, Indy won't lose 3 in a row. New York Giants at Detroit This will be a good game, and I'm picking the hometeam. Cleveland at Baltimore Cleveland almost beat Pittsburgh, so I expect them to whallop Baltimore. Tampa Bay at Atlanta Coming off the bye, TB will continue to increase its lead in the division. Arizona at Cincinnati Cincy has too many weapons for 'Zona to stop. Miami at Philadelphia Miami will win a game this year, just not this one. Oakland at Minnesota With out AP, I'm thinking that Oakland wins, but hey I could be wrong. San Diego at Jacksonville San Diego has one great game on D and then a really lousy one, considering their outing last week, you can guess what's coming this week. Carolina at Green Bay GB is looking like one of the better teams in the league, and they have this up and coming QB named Favre or something like that. New Orleans at Houston Houston is getting Andre Johnson and Matt Shaub back this week, the Saints lost against the Rams, so I give it to Texas. Pittsburgh at New York Jets I don't think this game should be televised, the outcome will be to grisly for Jet fans to stomach. Washington at Dallas Washington gives up a lot of yardage through the air, Dallas will take advantage of that. Chicago at Seattle "Rex is their quarterback"...nuff said. St. Louis at San Francisco SAINT Louis? SAN Fancisco? I smell papacy afoot. I give it to the rams, but be careful out there. New England at Buffalo New England WILL lose a game this year, it just won't be this one. Monday: Tennessee at Denver Chalk up Tennessee's poor outing last week to a fluke. Their D returns to normal this week and embarrasses Denver in their house. Playoffs: AFC East: Patriots (15-1/14-2 they're going to lose at least one, they're either going to lose in Miami (yeah you heard that right) or against Pittsburgh) North: Steelers South: Colts West: KC (I'm giving it to them over the roller coaster team that is San Diego) ------------ WC Cleveland (who'd have seen this one coming?) San Diego/Tennessee/Jax/Houston ( a hot streak in the next 7 weeks can put any of these teams in there) NFC East: Dallas North: Detroit (Lions play GB on Thanksgiving, they'll rise up to the spotlight) West: Seattle (If they didn't play in the West they wouldn't make it) South Tampa Bay ------------ WC Green Bay New Orleans/Giants (it's too close to call at this point) |
