Running program without transmitter

Is it possible to put the vex controller into an 'autonomous only' mode, like the FRC controllers when you set the team number to 0. I want to be able to run my vex controller totally autonomously and not have to have the transmitter connected

Look in main.c before the infinite loop:
Code:

#if ENABLE_AUTONOMOUS_MODE
txdata.user_cmd = 0x02; /* Tell master you want to be in auton mode. */
#endif

we had this same problem!! if you are using EasyC, you MUST program with the Easyc FOR vex, even though EasyC Pro will work, it will require the transmitter to not only be connected, but the radio must be turned on aswell...

let me know if this was your problem..
