access violation - no RTTI data!
 

When I try to save any file in inventor '08, an error message pops up saying, "serious error Access violation - no RTTI data!"
Does anyone know how to fix this?

(I currently have unsaved parts open and I don't want to lose them so restarting inventor would be a last resort)

Are you running on a server? Have you tried saving them to a flash or external drive other than the main drive on your system?? This has seemed to usually work for me when i have similar issues with saving in inventor.:yikes:

inventor ended up shutting down and then when restarted it ran fine. I wasn't running on a server. If/when this happens again I'll try saving to another drive. Thanks
