Woah, Give us a few hours to sleep! :p

I was up at 4:00 AM, arrived at the event at 7:30 AM, and didn't even get home until 10:00 PM. Granted, I left the event at 7:00 PM, but we had a farewell dinner for one of our FRC mentors, and I'm still recovering from the FRC final build week and ship.

Here is the elimination bracket from CT FTC Championships:

Q1
#1 seed, teams 4,175,662 2Wins, 1Tie
#8 seed, teams 785,622,577 1Tie

Q2
#4 seed, teams 285,144,10 2Wins
#5 seed, teams 581,370,572 1Win

Q3
#2 seed, teams 60,1,247 2Wins
#7 seed, teams 273,80,624 1Win

Q4
#3 seed, teams 40,130,73 0Wins
#6 seed, teams 655,6,381 2Wins

SF1
#1 seed, teams 4,175,662 2Wins
#4 seed, teams 285,144,10 1Win

SF2
#2 seed, teams 60,1,247 1Win
#6 seed, teams 655,6,381 2Wins

F
#1 seed, teams 4,175,662 2Wins
#6 seed, teams 655,6,381 1Win

Winner
#1 seed, teams 4,175,662

Congratulations, to all the teams that attended this event.

I will compile full match results, and forward them to the appropriate person to be added to the CT FTC website. Unfortunately, I was breaking down the scoring system and fields during the awards ceremony, so I don't have the awards winners. I'm sure someone else will post them.

Harry, you definitely should have texted me way earlier than you did last night. After a really long day, and going out to dinner after the event I was sleeping by that midnight hour when the text message came in. lol :p

I'll try and scan in and post the bracket in picture form tomorrow when I get a chance but Art has the info above.

What an awesome competition everyone!
It was great seeing everyone again!

My only complaint was being confused by team numbers of FTC teams who don't match their FRC partner teams. :rolleyes:

Oh well. I'll just have to get used to that.

I can't get used to it, either. Team 40 = Peligon? team 175 = Checkmate? It doesn't want to "compute" in my brain! And since it will all change again soon, I'm not bothering to memorize them. :P

The great folks at Sharon Youth Robotics (home to FTC Team 1, Unlimited) have posted a bunch of photos on their website: http://eaglevex.syraweb.org/manchester2008.htm

Team 381 = 839 sideways.

You got your 8, you got your 3, and 8 + 1 = 9
381 = 839!

Now, try this- Our license plate number for Rosie's new trailer is W6992. That equals 839 also. You tell me how.

Re: [FTC]: FTC Champ Tournament - Connecticut

W = 89 in ASCII

896992

So you have your 8, and you have your 9

Now you have 6992

6/2 = 3 -----> 3 * (9/9) = 3

Therefore we have 839. Wow that was a good waste of 2 minutes.
