how do you get normal videos (not podcasts you have to buy) on your ipod.

Put the DVD into the drive and import. It's really close to importing songs on my computer

You can download programs like SUPER Media Converter (Windows) or iSquint (Mac) to convert normal video files into the MPEG-4 format used by iPods. Then drag and drop the MPEG-4 video onto the iTunes window to add it to your Movies library. Then drag and drop the video from the iTunes Library onto the iPod icon. Done.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but you can download videos off of Google video that can be put on an ipod
