Dean Kamen is always looked up to as a mentor and a very intelligent person. I must disagree, for he does not even know anything about American politcs. At the kickoff, he said, "Senators and Congressmen". Clearly he is an idiot. Senators ARE congressmen.

As I recall, representatives are also part of the congress not just the senators. Correct me if I am wrong.

Be nice. You are not going to help anyone by insulting Dean without knowing what you are talking about. Helping people and learning are the goals of FIRST not obsessing over some small slip up (which did not even happen) said by Dean.

While this is true, by convention the term "congressmen" is often used to mean members of the House of Representatives, even though Senators are also members of congress.

What I said was 100% factual. "Senators are Congressmen" is absolutely correct. Therefore, I am not wrong.

I know that Reps are Congressmen. Just because I don't explicitly state it does not disprove my previous statement. Your inability to logically reason causes you to be a failure at debating the issue at hand.

You act as if you are perfect and never make a mistake. Actually, have you invented many inventions that have helped people and have you created an organization that is spurring the technological age and helping teens all across this country?

Ok, assume that your reasoning is completely correct. What good does it do to anyone by you calling Dean an idiot?

Also, Dean is an engineer and a human. In FIRST we tend not to go crazy when someone makes a mistake.

Why are you calling people names. :mad: How immature can you be. People make mistakes including you. Do you want all of your mistakes pointed out? Sometime, when you mature you might realize you just made a huge mistake. You are representing your team on here and you totally just blew it. Hopefully other teams in your area wont take your lack of judgement and or common sense out on you. You need to make friends with other teams not "correct" a mistake of a person whom many people look up to.
