FIRST 2008 Ship Date Website Countdown

I used Dynamic Drive's Universal Countdown script on AdamBots.com for the FIRST Kickoff Countdown and now I've got the Shipping Deadline Countdown on website. I thought I'd share the resource, so I made a small tutorial on our site with the javascript and html you have to add to your site. It's easy to modify and use.

A demo can be found in the yellow, rounded rectangle at the top of our site.

http://adambots.com/index.php?title=...untdown_Script

The countdown is counting down to 11:59pm EST on February 19th, 2008. If you're in a different time zone, visit this page to learn how to change the timezone.

If you'd like help you can join our IRC channel through AdamBots.com at our IRC page - http://adambots.com/index.php?title=Special:IRC, post here, email me, or join AdamBots forums and post in the AdamBots eMedia section.

Feedback please!
Ryan

I like this idea. When I get a bit of free time I will modify The Blue Alliance's Team Badge Generator to count down to Ship where it is currently display everyone's (0-0-0) WLT ratio for this year. It won't be as accurate as your countdown (+/- 1 day), but it will be helpful :)

At txfirst.org, we are using drupal and a simple counter Tag inside of Drupal, to learn more about counter tags, see link,
Code:

<center>Count down to ship date<br>
<span id="countdown1">2008-2-19 12:00:00 GMT-06:00</span></center>

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 23:40.
