Re: '08 CAD Model Wish List
I just downloaded the left window motor and imported it into my drawing...It didn't look quite right and then I realized the model is for a different motor (I'm assuming an older version). The difference is that the placement of the three mounting holes is the reverse of the current left window motor. If you look at the motor with the output shaft towards you, the model has 2 holes at the top and one at the bottom. The motor I have has one hole towards the top and two holes towards the bottom. If you could please update the model it would be much appreciated.
Thanks Edit: I was looking through the site and just found a different model in the archive section. The holes are right, but the model is significantly less detailed than the other. |
Re: '08 CAD Model Wish List
I've been looking but I haven't found any Power Distribution blocks on FIRST CAD library. Have I been missing it??
If not then I'd like to request those. |
Re: '08 CAD Model Wish List
I would like a kit frame ipart, so you could specify length and width and it would automatically constrain the rails, endcaps, and bumpers.

Re: '08 CAD Model Wish List
SMC has a site call Etech. This models are very accurate for hole location - but you have to know the part number - look on the mfg label on the actual aircylinder.
You can get there by going to www.3dcontentcentral.com. Browse model suppliers. Bishop Wisecarver is also there under "all model suppliers" and other FRC manufacturers. There is also joysticks. But joysticks are in the user supplied category. If you download a joystick model you can get an idea how to create one. Marie |
Re: '08 CAD Model Wish List
Another request here for the power distribution blocks. I spent a good six hours today trying to find and then mimic them, but I didn't have much luck.
