Flamed.

But the point of putting up these teasers is to gain attention.
So when no one pays attention to it and has nothing to say about it then what was the point of putting it up?

Attention doesn't necessarily mean posts. I don't think that everyone who posts is fishing for compliments or questions. I agree that there are probably some things that shouldn't be posted just for posting's sake (like just an 8' long piece of PVC bought off the shelf at the hardware store), but teasers are supposed to be vague to begin with and this fits the bill better than a fair amount of pictures. I don't see why this one was bashed other than the fact that they're not a perennial powerhouse team.

Like I said before, if you don't have anything positive to say or a question to ask then (in my not so humble opinion) you shouldn't go out of your way to start a thread about the picture just to berate the original poster for their lack of "etiquette." PMs worded in a very respectful manner, or asking for more hints would be much more professional. Isn't that what we're supposed to try to promote? This isn't World of Warcraft where it's a relatively generally accepted practice to flame people from anonymous characters; this is FIRST and the real world here and we should be more courteous and respectful of others.

I don't know. Maybe it's easier to be on this high horse when I don't have a robot to build, but you should see this view!

I wish we could highlight this whole post, Bill.
Thank you for taking the time to make it.
You aren't on a high horse that I can see.

I also liked this teaser - I felt like I was looking up through the frame.
