At the competition will there be designated remotes?
First off, at the moment I'm working on the IR board, and it's very easy to configure and code. However, my problem is that I don't know if we are able to buy a specific remote, although I'm quite sure that the answer is no.
However, second is that it is necessary to know how signals are to not get crossed, as, I find it difficult that a series of remotes around 38KHz will not trigger each other to do certain things. In this case, how are we to prevent this, other than "Blinders?" And lastly, I would like to know if they'll supply remotes, for those that may die or interfere with others. Thanks for all replies, but why can't they put this stuff in the KOP??? |

who says FIRST is going to make it so there is not interference? maybe thats part of the challenge...to make it work even if there are other remotes...

Teams must bring their own remotes, and even if that remote fails, you can't use another.
