Does anyone have information on the Team Social?

I need to know how restricted attendance will be (parents, siblings?) as well as the start and end times.

Hm, assuming this team social doesn't get canceled, it should be fun hanging out with a few teams.

Does anyone know when the social is and (if there is one) the dinner thing that we usually have?

I really need to get an agenda out to the members and parents as soon as I can, and it would be nice to know where/when the social & dinner is.

A few High Rollers and I will be driving out Friday morning to watch the LA regional, what are some of the hotels teams are staying at?

Well, I'm not sure where teams are staying this year, but I do know where an old Visitor's Guide is located. I don't think the hotels have changed much, though the venue might have (not sure if '05 was Forum or Sports Arena).

1070 isn't staying at a hotel. We're all semi-local so we just gonna wake up early and drive downtown every day.

It's my first year in FIRST and I'm so excited for this regional! I competed with 1070 in a competition earlier this year (the Fall Classic? ... something like that) but I hear that was tiny in comparison. I've been looking forward to the LA Regional for months and the suspense is nearly killing me at this point. :)

Heheheh, tiny is an understatement. Be prepared to have strange/wonderful images burned into your mind. My first time last year was incredible.

Hopefully you'll get to Atlanta. It'll make LA look puny.

We just got in from Arizona; we're staying at the Radisson (It seems way too nice for us). We made sure to come to LA early so we could visit six flags on Wednesday! Can't wait to see all of the teams on Thursday, it looks like it will be a fun regional.

Its going to be my last regional, so I am just going to go there and plan to have a lot of fun. All I know, is that I want to be on American Gladiators for a day :)

If you havent heard, the venue sort of overbooked, so American Gladiator set is still at the arena. I think the pits are split because of this. Its definitely going to be wild.
