Who is having fun?

I think this years game is pretty cool. Do you like last years better than this year?

At the beginning of both years, I didn't really like the game. But it has a tendency to grow on you. As Dave Lavery has said,
Quote:

we would all build robots to play "rock-paper-scissors" if FIRST told us to, cause it is just so freakin' much fun to build a robot until 2:30am every night for six weeks!
So, yeah, I'm having fun. :)

I liked the game from last year way more than this year. But our robot Ideas are coming out decent so i guess i might like this game after all.

I think that this year is way better than last year. Last year (to me) was an attempt to revive the concept of Triple Play (a game that I did not like). However, Aim High was the absolute best game ever, and I wish they would revisit that concept.

Definitely agree. 2006 was the best game ever, 2004 was a close second, and 1998 was third. 1995, 2001, and 2003 were some of the worst… In some ways this year’s game is a cross between 1995 and 2001 :(

I wish I was. I am too busy with college to truly enjoy FIRST. Oh well, I guess I must stick with priorities. Too bad though, afterall I am the CAD master.

Re: Who is having fun?

I think this year's game is a little bit more difficult because of how much the ball weighs. I had alot fun last year, but i think this year will be alot funner.

I kind of like this year's game. It requires a faster robot.

Yah robotics is always fun. But I did like last year's game better. In my opinion, I think we were spoiled last year...it was a great game.
