How do you attach a pulley to extruded aluminum?

We need some help on our elevator design. We need to attach, preferably with a T-nut, a pulley (3/16ths shaft diameter) to a piece of extruded aluminum (30 mm track). Any ideas?

basically thats the best and easiest way to do it. just use some washers to space the pulley so it doesnt rub on the aluminum

You mean with a T-nut? That would be ideal, except we have a limited number of T-nuts... Is there an alternate way?

Go all the way through and use another type of nut, maybe.

t nuts are cheap. but you can just get a regular nut that fits back there and use that. if not. drill through all of it and use a bolt
