This page is designed to provide you with the FedEx donation guidelines and usage information on how to ship your robot crate. Whether you are a new or returning Shipping Contact, you will want to review this page.

Please note this page is meant to supplement the 2008 Competition Manual, Section 4 - Robot Transportation and the "Shipping and Drayage" documents found on the Regional Events listing page with additional information - not to be read in lieu of it. Be sure to carefully read and understand all documents.

I've bolded the text above for emphasis:

Don't be confused by the max weight of 600 lbs of crate/robot in the FedEx Donation page - that's the weight limit for donated FedEX shipping. If your crate weighs more than 400 lbs, you are still subject to additional costs from the drayage company.
