Re: Please help.....Taigene window motors

I've been looking for Taigene Window Motor, and have not been able to find any. Where would I be able to find this motor?
Any websites?

Thx,
Team 1403

The Taigene motor is much weaker and slower than it has been in previous years. Our mechanism took 8 seconds, and struggled rather than the 3 seconds it was supposed to take no problem. Look at the PDF that I found here on Chief Delphi that a team made, it is the same that is posted above.

For connecting it, cut the connector off, and attach your own connectors. I would connect it to a Victor to give you more control, but if you don't need speed control, a Spike will work great.

There was one of the Taigene Van Door motors included in the kit (black with a silver sideways output shaft, red and green wires, should say delphi on it). I'm not sure where to buy them, I checked ifirobotics and banebots and they did not have them. Look in the Section 10 of the manual and it may show it.
