our team has started races half way around the track from touching one overpass to the other without touching the ground balancing on the ball. It's timed of course and i currently have the record with 6.59 seconds from overpass to overpass:yikes:

if you can beat this let me know i'll have to try harder

Well, i work on the team website in my boredom.. onetime i got so bored last week, i scrapped the site i had been working on for over a month, and created one in about 4 hours that is better.. let's hope i don't get too bored again or i might crank out another design...

CAD drivetrains, write code, and/or eat. last year we had a tabletop CNC and i wrote pseudo-CAM sort of software for it.

I actually had the luxury of being bored briefly today; all the parts we could be making at the time were at our machinists' places. It's a nice feeling.

any method you choose but you must remain on the ball, only half our track is clear of stuff which is why we only go halfway.

i challenge someone to beat it and post there time. from starting on the ball touching to overpass on one side go around the end and touch the other overpass.

I just read the posts and reply for no reason, but if there is no pc available i get on the lathe and just make some wacky designs out of some stock

We seem to have a fair amount of, well, not really spare time. not as a whole team. progress comes in sections, so sometimes a few people will have nothing to do. We watch Invader Zim on the computer, listen to music, and whistle delightfully annoying television theme songs.

BTW It's called "Under Pressure...during build season" but it has no pics (yet) of the build season. I couldn't name this: Under Pressure? We are. (System wont' put ?'s in file names.)

The only major problem is that its never going to get built... Not to mention that it would be a pain to build at all.

Ummm... ok I can't attach the file. I've tried reconverting it, compressing it. Nor can I acess the file on my computer either.:mad: sigh.

But that was only on the way to robotics. If I'm actually bored at robotics, I just find something to do. Poof! Boredom dealt with. :D
