This looks like a relatively easy way

Re: Coupling a Globe Motor

The globe motor gearbox has a 3/8" diameter shaft, and is fairly long. We have coupled to it two ways.

1) Find a gear with a 3/8" bore, drill and pin the gear to the shaft.

2) The shaft is supported by a single bronze bushing, so it doesn't like large cantilevered loads. We have used a shaft coupling to connect it to second, co-axial shaft, which was either keyed or had a gear pinned to it.

3) The AM adapter (linked to above) looks pretty nice as well.
