Bearing Blocks

Our team is using the Andy Mark Supershifters with the 2'' longer shafts. Where would be a good place to buy bearing blocks for them? Or is it better to make our own?

You can buy pillow blocks (bearing blocks) with bearings in them from mcmaster-carr. (www.mcmaster.com)

Re: Bearing Blocks

we ended up making bearing blocks for our mechanum drive last year, and they turned out good, but unless you have people who are good at welding and machining you might want to consider buying some.

we got some amazing plastic ones from mcmaster for about the same cost as metal ones but the weight like 5oz each and this is for 3/4" shaft
