Carn Nack 2008?

I have been waiting for weeks for Car Nack to make his yearly predictions on the 2008 game Overdrive. Does anybody know if Car Nack retired or if he is on vacation??

I don't think he's picked up the vibrations on this game yet. But I'd like to know what our other resident mediums are getting.

I have been waiting for the same thing. The season just does not seem complete without the annual prognostications of our resident oracle.

But whilst we wait to receive enlightenment from upon high, I will offer up a little prediction of my own:

At least once during the season, a Trackball will leap over the extended guard rails, escape the field, and take out the entire scoring table (computers and all) before anyone can react and corral it.

Scoring or de-scoring

Are you sure you didn't mean "[a]t least once during each regional" Mr. Lavery?

I'm working on a plan to protect the scoring table with a barrier of chain-link fencing. Similar barriers protect bands performing at rough establishments, such as punk clubs and biker bars. Or so I've been told by some former punks and bikers.

I saw an email from Car-Nack the other day. He is around. Well... from what I saw this summer, he is less a"round" that he was the last couple of years. ha!

Maybe this silly poke will bring Car-Nack out from his robot building duties.

I predict that there will be lots of:
- did you see thats?!
- omgs
- cheers
and
- loud clapping

coming from the stands.
The spectators are going to love the challenge and the Trackballs.

Did Car Nack predict that team 71 would win the Chairman's Award for the Midwest Regional?

If not, I hope it came as a great joy and surprise because they certainly deserve it. Congratulations guys!!
