I hate to argue. But we might have an even better give away that every teams gets one, and only one of, tomorrow morning. :ahh:

I dont know if i am just hearing things but i heard that 469 is totally changing their robot form their roller-intake-arm to a launcher. I am both scared and worried. With a launcher, guerillas could be fast and dont have to stop to hurdle. But with not alot of time to assemble and attach it, i dont know if they will be as competitive. I am rooting for you guys though. Lets see if we can have another repeat of detroit except, can you let us be on the winning side:D

This regional has started off pretty well. Robot works great, and set our personal best scores in lap total and balls knocked off in a match. We had some minor failures that we had a plan on how to replace the parts. Just wait for Saturday for our foam fingers and buttons!

They sure are. It's amazing - two weeks ago they were at Detroit. That means between then and now, they had one 10 hour fix it window to construct, etc etc.

I'm always amazed at how much they can do in a short time.

Their drive train at Detroit was excellent. High speed and crabbing well. Add in an efficient shooter and they'll be a force.

FYI, they didn't completely rebuild. They took their ball-picker upper and put that down low to flip the ball onto their launcher, which is an all new kicker hooked to a winch system and fired with what looks like surgical tubing. I couldn't get too close a look because they spent the entire day working on it. Should be interesting how far they can get.

Frog Force 503 is also rebuilding. They created 35 pounds of new fabricated parts, and then decided which 25 pounds of parts they brought on site (and presumably are rebuilding the other 10 pounds). They got to the field for their last scheduled practice match.

469 has yet to be seen on the field. And yes, it does involve a bunch of surgical tubing.
