obviously the flag holder and ball knocker offer are part of a subassembly that has not been installed yet...

Great job Robonauts!

Snap in Victors, V6 with belts , intense launching system. I would not except any less of the Robonauts. Year after year, the Robonauts push the game to the limits. They also do a fantastic job building the Houston community and their school district.

Look forward to seeing the robot at LSR. http://txfirst.org

yup, they did

Incredible job so far...
Truth be told... I'm somewhat fearful :o
What launches the ball forward?
I understand the pulling back and closing with pneumatics...
And I see the belt being pulled back, but what's the retarding force to that motion? is it a pneumatic firing it out? or is that an elastic launch...

Edit: Are those gas shocks by any chance?

Edit2: never mind... i see the latex tubing

Looks to be just surgical tubing.

I won't repeat the jaw-drop smily, but I concur.

Thank you for not entering the Detroit Regional.

That is truly awesome.
I think alot of people are going to be eating their words about robots not doing more than 4 hurdles a match.
I think I need to go lie down now. ;)

Good song too.
