the camera is looking down from the joint of the main arm member.

is it a linear actuator arm shaft? just guessing but it looks cool.

i dont see any wires/ pneumatic tubing coming up the tower so it cud be jsut about anything........nice machining job tho

Thanks for all the complements. I'll try to get some better pics this weekend but yes it is the main joint of a sort of arm. The bigger teaser is what goes on it...
