Led IR reciever replacement
 

Checked out the Tiny IR2 site and order 5volt regulators from digikey but I'm thinking about adding another IR LED receiver to position another on the opposite side.

My question oh wise delphites is where would I get one and what part number is it.

Also has anyone tested with wider IR ranges.

My apologies if this has been posted in another spot couldn't find any search that matched this question.

Could you please put a link to the page on which you can order the 5 Volt regualtors? That would be really helpful.

For the IR LED, you could probably search for the IR board on google and see if you can find schematics for the board.

the parts are listed on the TinyIR2 website I ordered it through Digikey

Sadly the Schematic doesnt list the part

Oh one last thing I forgot to mention tauntek the makers of the board mentioned that IR Receivers can be purchased from Mouser electronics but I don't know which ones would be the best and sadly we don't have much time left for experimentation
