Almost done. The robot moves and runs great. We tested the ball catcher and it works also. Pics and video.

Nice robot, looks like you can turn on a dime. Pretty amusing to see you guys handle the ball without the cradle, what are the chances it would fit.

Norm, I might have to do something drastic if you videotape me again!!! Like skip the wonderful dinner your wife is cooking for us tonight!!:eek:

Robot looks great, though. Thanks for posting video of it, since I missed the test drive.:yikes:

It's kind of based on the Dung beetle. The Claw on the bottom corrals the ball on the floor and a jaw holds the ball in place. We can then hurdle over the bar and also knock the ball off. Speed at the moment is under 10'/sec. but we turn on a dime.
