We choose our robot names through popular vote of the team in either November or December

We usually name our robot after someone associated with the American Revolution (loosely, anyway). If you get a team number like 1776, it's hard not to go with it.

The final vote hasn't happened yet this year, but it looks like the robot's going to be "Paul Rovere" (one if by lane divider, two if by side rail). Last year was Botsy Ross, and our rookie bot was Benjamin Franklinstein.

We (Team 2065) don't have an official name for it yet, but our five-man build team (including myself) have called it, for the time being, the M46 Predator, or Predator for short, 'cause it looks like a tank.

The MidKnight Inventors' 2008 robot is named The Knight Rider.

Team RUSH has never officially named our robot, but last year we had a joke about it. It was called Mt. RUSHmore. As in mount our robot more. As for this year who knows.

Our bot's name is Anomaly and has been since 02' so we just change the version every year. Right now our robot is Anomaly V 7.0

973 has yet to pick a name for this year, but the current top 5 choices are;

TechnoKats robots have always had an official name. Since I've been a part of the team, we've had KatsKlaw, Skyhook, Katapult (redubbed Katawheel after we replaced the ball shooter), and RackStar. So far as I know, nobody has yet suggested a name for our Overdrive robot.

Our robot always ends up with a name in the event programs, but no one knows how it gets there... >_>

I think the team mentors/teachers essentially decide on ours. Maybe I should try to change that...

We've taken to naming our past three robots, and already have a name picked out for this one.

2005- Ice Pick
2006- Snow Blower
2007- Iceberg
2008- Avalanche

I'm sure you can see our team theme applied to the names :p

ours this year is named Twitch. based on how it asked first test run lol.

Last year she was Pinchy, cause of the claw. they are kinda random, but they are funny and cool
