Team 540 needs a hand, or at least a couple solenoids

We are doing a very pneumatics-intensive rig this year, and thus are a bit short in the supply category. We need at least 2 more SMC Double Solenoids from the kit of parts. We are happy to trade for them and we can cover your shipping costs even for next day air if it is less than $75. We appreciate any willingness to help and thanks in advance.

Check the SMC website, they might have some available.

I will talk to the team tonight,

please e-mail me at ggoldman@vt.edu so we can discuss further.

Team 1254 is in need of 1 or 2 more too.
I called the local SMC distributor and the part number

SY3240-6H-S is not on their system.

They have part number SY3240-6HZ-X70-S available,
which was the part number from a different year.

I have a question into Q&A to see if we can use them.
Does anyone else know the answer???

We are also looking for a ball valve.

Thanks.

<R87> and <R88> are the go-to rules for legality of pneumatic parts. It sounds like you should be good.
