Why was the yellow in the logo initially and now why is it removed?
Is it part of the team colors?

I don't mean to be a killjoy, but I'm pretty certain that you're violating FIRST's logo usage guidelines. Other than that, it looks fine.

Indeed. I would suggest that you change the FIRST logo in the blue version to the one with white letters. The black letters can't be read.

The logo was changed because for some (odd) reason we decided to stop using the (not-so-eye-catching) grey colours and go to the (OMG-UP-IN-YOUR-FACE) colour yellow. And, apparently yellow logo on yellow shirt = no logo... so changes were made :O

The coolest things is that the colours on the new logo are grey, red and blue!

First year of Robotics as 1596 our t-shirts were red
Second year of Robotics as 1596 our t-shirts were blue
Third year of Robotics as 1535 our t-shirts were grey
Fourth year = yellow..

But the point was that the logo has all teh colours that we have previously worn... how sexyy is that!
