Changing potentiometers in joystick

Is it legal to change the potentiometers and springs in the joysticks?

I don't see why it wouldn't be legal... Are you changing them b/c of wear and tear / them being defective or are you replacing them just to replace them :)?

Either which way I think it's legal and have yet to come across a rule that says otherwise... If all else fails check the manual again and even the flowchart.

Its absolutely legal. You don't even have to use the KOP joysticks if you dont want to... if you wanted to get really creative, you could build your own.
