can you use a single button as a toggle?

can the function of a single button be "change direction"?
in other words- when you press the button once your robot goes forward, then when you press the button a second time your robot goes reverse.
.........ps, we are talking about the robo coach......

That's a toggle function. Please see Update 3 and the Q&A. Toggles are not legal.

You could have one button as "forward" and another as "reverse". That would be legal.
