Help with Wiring
 

Our team is mounting two seloniods on the claw. We need to run (roughly) 10 feet of wire to the claw. That means four grounds and four powered 24 gauge wires to run to the claw. We have some cat. 5E telephone wiring that has eight 24 gauge cables running through a sleeve. (With four different colors, and four white wires that we would use for grounds.) This woud work perfect for us but it might break rule R54

Use red, white, or brown wire for +12 Vdc and +5 Vdc connections.
Use black or blue wire for common (-) connections.

Can we use the wire??
The other four colors are:
Green
Orange
Brown
Blue
