Extra Ir Recievers

Is it illegal to have several of the IR receivers on the robot? Not multiple boards, just the receivers.

As far as i know it's not illegal as long as there only 4 inputs for both receivers just program both for the same inputs as the other

that's what our team is planing so let me know if its wrong
