Scouting Reports

This thread is designed to let teams show their robot to others via Chief Delphi. Basically make a new post and post information down about the robot, what your strategy/goals are for the competition, your team #, etc. for example, you could use the following layout

TEAM - 0000
ROBOT - *info*
STRATEGY - *Strategy*
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS - *whatever*
REGION - *region*

Just add whatever you see fit, include a couple pictures of the robot if you can and don't worry about the font.

Please don't post if you aren't going to post information about your team.

Some teams like secrecy. Can't exactly say I blame them.

And since you want info on my team...

#1135
Competing at L.A. Regional
Other than that, it's mostly hope it works. Try the team website to find info.

Re: Scouting Reports

While holding back your info is fine, posting to state that you won't post it is pretty annoying and pointless. Anyways...

TEAM - 964
ROBOT - The Super Rad
STRATEGY - knock the ball down, herd the ball, knock opponents ball down
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS - it drives.
REGION - Buckeye

Re: Scouting Reports

TEAM -
93 - N.E.W. Apple Corps Robotics Team
ROBOT -
Tobor 11
6-wheel drive using a combination of AndyMarks and custom wheels
2 speed AndyMark SuperShifters - servo controlled
4-bar linkage for lifting using 2 F-P's/FP gearboxes with gas spring assist
Articulated grabber that has the ability to "catch" the ball off the overpass, hurdle the ball, and place it at the end of the match
Pneumatic disc brakes on elbow and wrist to hold position.
STRATEGY -
Knock the ball off (hopefully - we're close to having this functional)
Herd/hurdle the ball
Run a few laps
Place the ball
Work well with our alliance partners by listening and strategizing collaboratively
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS -
Be careful how much faith you place in the information provided by the teams both in these forums and in the pits at comps. I am by no means implying that teams intentionally lie, however, everyone wants to believe their robot is capable of what they designed it to do. The real scouting happens during the matches when there are five other robots who want to win just as much as you. Team 93 is more than willing to share their match scouting with anyone who asks. Now sit back, relax and enjoy the show!
