according to the Q&A's you are probably illegal with those holes cut into the plexi glass of your bot

B. I never read anything like that.. Are you sure you are not mistaken? |
Re: pic: Team 2070's Overdrive Robot, Rambo!
It's not plexiglass! It's 1/2" lexan/polycarb. Speed holes are perfectly legal. It did look much nicer without the holes but it needed to lose 8lbs before ship-date!

Is your team's robot within the size constraint of the 80 diameter when it is expanded to it's maximum length?

Re: pic: Team 2070's Overdrive Robot, Rambo!
It looks a lot like our design. Does yours fit in 80"? (We had a lot of panicking going on when we realized we were over 80" yesterday).

Re: pic: Team 2070's Overdrive Robot, Rambo!
The robot barely fits in the 80" horizontal rule. Hopefully it won't get too hot at the Javits or else the metal might expand and then we'll be in trouble... anybody knows the coefficient of linear expansion for Aluminum?
