according to the Q&A's you are probably illegal with those holes cut into the plexi glass of your bot

A. How do you know that is Plexiglass?

B. I never read anything like that.. Are you sure you are not mistaken?

It's not plexiglass! It's 1/2" lexan/polycarb. Speed holes are perfectly legal. It did look much nicer without the holes but it needed to lose 8lbs before ship-date!

Is your team's robot within the size constraint of the 80 diameter when it is expanded to it's maximum length?

very nice i like the grabber design much like the one a team mate an i had drawn up just after kick off good luck i hope u do well

It looks a lot like our design. Does yours fit in 80"? (We had a lot of panicking going on when we realized we were over 80" yesterday).

The robot barely fits in the 80" horizontal rule. Hopefully it won't get too hot at the Javits or else the metal might expand and then we'll be in trouble... anybody knows the coefficient of linear expansion for Aluminum? :eek:
