Re: pic: Team 2622
Kudos to 1538 for helping out the rookie team 2622 with their robot. It looks cool.
I'm finding that rookie teams are very appreciative of the helpful suggestions and guidance that the veteran teams can offer. It's a great support system and builds more than robots - it builds community. They will never forget your help, I'm sure. Good luck to both teams! |

At first glance I thought it was a giant IR board haha
Looks nice, good luck |
Re: pic: Team 2622
Certainly doesn't violate the 80" rule. Excellent work 1538, without you guys 2622 would've never had the chance to enjoy FIRST.
One sugesstion for 2622: attach a roll cage during Day 1 of your competition. Those trackballs will certainly fall onto the bot at least once, it needs protection for all those exposed wires and victors. |
Re: pic: Team 2622
This picture was taken Monday morning. They do have plans to protect their electronics. Muffin is correct. Had they not hit the chair, they would have actually hit a wall at full speed and probably drove right into the next classroom and then some.
