On another note I have a funny little thing about how our bot got to Rochester. On the ship date it got picked up in Norwich, NY by truck and went to Syracuse (2 to a 2.5 hour drive). Then what ever shipping company we had to use put out robot on a plain and flew it to Rochester a flight that was all of 16 minutes. Where it got back onto a truck and went to RIT. Idk why our robot spent more time on the tarmac then it was in the air, but to someone at the shipping company it makes sense to fly stuff from cities there are about an hour apart.

The reason for this is that it is actually cheaper for the company to fly it. Most likely a shipment of other things had just come in that were flying to Rochester anyways. And instead of paying 2 different loading teams to load the crate onto a truck and pay a driver to drive it there then unload it and drive back, why not use the people that are already being paid? Makes it a lot cheaper for a company, especially one that does this so many times a day.

They have an electromagnet that pulls back a slingshot (using 2 FP's) and then they turn the magnet power off and it launches. It was awesome to watch.
