Announcer: It seems that the blue alliance is a set of super robots, but they are not scoring any points right now.
Ted: What?? We don't get creativity points??? Announcer: The AI in blue robot 2 would appear to be flawed. On the other hand, congratulations to team 237 on adding a voice component to this unit! Mike: That was so my doing! Announcer:...One robot programming another???? Wow... |

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #190
See, if it was a water game, and we used tetras again, it would look just like this in the reflection!

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #190
This, along with a lot of Team 190's robots, can all be explained by one thing: there must be something in the water at WPI.
It inspires people to think outside of the Spoiler for Not part of entry:

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #190
Team 237 prepares for thier halftime show, "A Tribute to Dangerfield", featuring the infamous Triple Lindy Tetra Capping routine.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #190
In an effort to reverse the power of the pyramid Team 237 attempts to balance inverted pyramids on top of upright pyramids. There is speculation that should they succeed, the universe will unravel and life as we know it will cease to exists. But that is the worst case scenario.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #190
This is the setup for the great Team 237 lunchtime act.
Watch now as the "Tumbling Bouchers jump through the tetra hoops"... This new feat of geometric prestidigitation never before performed in front of a live audience here are the "Tumbling Bouchers"!...The Bouchers!...How about a hand for the stage crew.... |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #190
Due to a weird space-time continuum divergence, 237 read the rules for Stack Attack instead of Triple Play. They couldn't understand why all their posts on CD refering to "balance problem" were met with the equivalent of an electronic shoulder shrug. When they got to the competition and started their pre-game stacking practice everyone went, "Oh, I get it now." Awesome team that they are, they quickly modified their robot to play Triple Play, but kept the tetra-balancing routine as an audience-pleasing sideshow.
[not part of entry] And by my calculations, Billfred will have to create a Team 1025 - themed contest the last week of February, 2024. I'm not sure if that's a scary or inspiring thought. [/npoe] |

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #190
I believe they need to rethink their efforts in the quest for the Uncappable Stack.
