Nice! We were working on a claw-arm system that looked almost identical to that, except we were using pneumatics everywhere. What kind of gear ratios are you using to lift that arm and how fast does it lift?

It has an 8:1 ratio on the arm and 4:1 on the claw rollback gears. It is not very fast with that ratio, but given that they can not knock you around when you are hurdling, we will be OK.

The only rat that I know of that is yellow and black is a Pikachu!

Looks like a promising gripper, but the question is how fast can the arm raise and lower?
