Very very very well made. It looks almost real, all it needs is background :)

Looks good but the robot seems pretty gray.

It might just be me, but it looks like the robot is floating in mid air. Maybe the wheels are just for show.

Re: 103 Submission

Again, it was just a thing short of time. It takes a long time to render one of these images, like 15 minutes. The crew couldn't get in there and constrain the XZ plane to the bottom of the wheels and submit it on time.

I think it is awesome. I can't help but wonder what the ball in the back of the robot is. It kind of looks rainbow-ish. What is it?

Re: 103 Submission

that's just what we put at the top of our lead screws. really, its just for show and to keep sharp edges on the actual robot from popping up. And yes, they actually look like that in real life.

Re: 103 Submission

ok, I can think of a few ways to make something like that, how did you? Most of the ways I think of would include modifying it in order to make the part multi-colored. Did you have to resort to that? Sorry for getting hung up on that. It just looks like something I haven't seen before. The rest of the bot is amazing. I don't want you to think that I am not impressed. But, for most of the bot I can tell exactly what tools were used. This, I am not sure.

Re: 103 Submission

Haha, well any expert can tell what tools went where. I'll get the guy who modeled it to post on this forum, he'll be able to tell you for sure.
