Team 1429 is coming for the first time. We haven't decided where to stay yet. It looks like all of the close hotels are already full. Any suggestions?

Joe: Looks like we'll be seeing you guys in the Marquis as well. If we can't be at the Omni, the Marriott seems to be as good a place as any. A lot of our friends will be there.

Are you folks on island already? If so, where are folks staying? Is this your first time to hawaii?

Everyone from 254 and 968 is in Hawaii right now besides me (had finals today. Leaving in the morning).

This will be my fourth trip to Hawaii, though my first to an island other than Maui.

We are staying at the Aqua Continental hotel in Waikiki. 968 is staying in a house right near the beach, I think about 30 minutes or so away from the venue.

Your team will get to the venue a lot faster than you folks think. I think 15 minutes tops.
I also saw the pit area setup already. Its so small that only about 30 teams fit in the arena while the others are in another side room. Your in the main isle way 2 pits from us. They inserted all of the rookie teams in between veteran teams.

We'll be staying at the Marriott Marquis as well. Out of the past three years, it's the nicest one we've stayed at - and looks awesome from the inside.

I believe it was I who was the only person agreeing with you on where to go when my whole team was going the wrong way... I think we'll be fine since I'll be there... :p
